Da Vinci FM was bred by Cathy Murphy, Full Moon Arabians, and he is the result of the breeding from many generations of National winning horses, tracing down in tail dam line to the great mare Sanacht (Hadban Enzahi x Hathor). Cathy Murphy states that Da Vinci got his strength, athletic ability and stunning beauty from the great stallions El Raffon, Ramses Fayek, GG Samir and Aramus on his dam´s side combined with the classic beauty of Versace. He also acquired the size of Fame VF, the balance, shoulder and hip of Ramses Fayek as well as the sweetness and stunning beauty of GG Samir.

Da Vinci´s ability to reproduce himself was evident from his first year at stud as a two-year old when he sired the stunning, chestnut MPA Giovanni, US National Futurity Champion, one of the most talked-about young stallions of today with several winning get.

MPA Giovannis own show career came to an abrupt end in April 2008 when he broke his leg, but by a miracle he survived.

Da Vinci´s was sold to Sally and Jim Bedeker and his first foal crop at David Boggs Midwest Station exceeded all expectations and was unveiled to breeders from all over the world during the 2009 Scottsdale show.

Da Vinci´s sire Versace was sired by the 1987 US National Champion Stallion Fame VF (Bey Shah x Raffoleta-Rose), who sired over 150 champions including US and Canadian National Champion Futurity Mare Karalisa, Brazilian Reserve National Champion Ffamess, US National Reserve Champion Mare Fames Fax and US National Champion Sweepstakes Colt and Futurity Colt and Reserve National Champion Stallion Desert Heat VF. Versace´s dam is the chestnut El Shaklan-daughter Precious As Gold.

Rohara Exotica has three lines to the great Fame VF through Versace, Little Liza Fame and as the maternal grandsire of Rohara Exotica´s dam Special Treat.

Rohara Exoticas great granddam Kaiynda Special is the leading Living Aristocrat Mare in the United States.

She tops the list for all time top producing mares with 14 champions, an honour she shares with TW Forteyna.

Kaiynda Special was born in 1988 and she is sired by Canadian Reserve National Champion Stallion and US Top Ten Stallion Kaiyom, the top-siring son of Khemosabi with well over 50 champions and 10 National winners. Khemosabi (Amerigo x Jurneeka) was himself a US and Canadian National Champion Stallion and Western Pleasure Champion. He was the leading living sire of champions until his death with over 300 champions and 106 National winners. He is also still the stallion with more registered foals than any other Arabian stallion. Kaiyom was bred by Varian Arabians and his dam was the great mare Bayanka, a daughter of the US National Reserve Champion Bay-Abi and out of the Polish-bred Bachantka (Wielki Szlem x Balalajka), one of the most significant foundation mares at Varian Arabians producing 6 champions and 6 producers of National winners. Her Bay-Abi daughters Bayanka and Baychatka produced Kaiyoum and the great mare Moska (by Khemosabi) respectively and Bachantka´s Bask-daughter Balalinka produced the successful performance stallion Barbary.

Rohara Exotica´s dam Special Treat is out of the great producing Treat Me Speciall (Fame VF x Kaiynda Special), dam of GR Psyches Rey – Canadian National Champion Futurity Colt and US National Reserve Champion Futurity Colt, LC Special Treat – owned by family Dolffe in Sweden and LC Special Effect – Region 15 Junior Champion Filly and Region 6 Reserve Champion Mare, all three by Padrons Psyche. Special Treat is by the incomparable Marwan Al Shaqab, three times World Champion, twice US National Champion, twice All Nations Cup Champion, European Champion and twice Qatari National Champion. His offspring have dominated the showring in the US, Europe and the Middle East making Marwan Al Shaqab a legend despite his young age. Marwan Al Shaqab is by the World Champion Stallion and US National Reserve Champion Stallion Gazal Al Shaqab (Anaza El Farid x Kajora), a stallion with his own great legacy with several illustrious offspring like the World Champions Pianissima and Emandoria. Gazal Al Shaqab´s dam was the highly valued Kajora, 1982 US National Champion Mare at the mere age of three.

Marwan Al Shaqab´s dam Little Liza Fame (Fame VF x Katahza) was Canadian National Champion Futurity Filly and US National Reserve Champion Western Pleasure Junior Horse.
